Introduction to Leadership Skills

Every Scout deserves a trained leader

For our Youth Leaders, they honor their unit in the same way by taking Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) with the Scoutmaster each time they are elected to office. Youth are led by the newly elected Senior Patrol Leader, guided by the Scoutmaster, through a series of teamwork exercises. Games help the Youth learn communication, project management, project planning to name a few. Every time a Scout takes ILST, they learn something new and learn to work with a new team.
