Youth Leadership

The scouts lead the troop with the direction of the Patrol Leaders Council (PLC). The core of the PLC is made of the youth - Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader(s), Assistant Patrol Leader(s). Meeting regularly, the members of the PLC meet to plan and implement the program for their fellow scouts. Adult leaders are on hand for guidance and to help answer questions the PLC may have during the course of the meeting.

All youth are invited and encouraged to participate at various levels in leadership. There are elected and appointed positions.

Each officer is given the opportunity to participate in Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) twice a year.
