Summer Activities

Three troop members recently went to National Jamboree in Glen Jean, West Virginia at Summit Bechtel Reserve. They were in a troop with other scouts Greater Houston area. When they arrived they learned that they got to share a campsite with scouts from Colorado.

They did many fun activities, including patch trading, zip lining, white water rafting, tomahawk throwing, and many others! One troop member, Sarah, said that her favorite activities were skateboarding and patch trading.

 

Several of our troop members went with our brother troop to Kandersteg in Switzerland during July. They stayed there for 2 weeks and they did many activities including hiking half-way up a mountain to a restaurant, hiking over waterfalls, and ate locally sourced cheese. They also had the opportunity to go white water rafting and go on a mountain coaster.
